The Scarecrow is one of the most dangerous Wandering Spirits, who drains his power and energy from the fear and despair of his victims, like the Dream Eaters.
He usually haunts and frightens his prey near cemeteries, swamps and other eerie places until it goes completely insane and worthless for him. Then, he may slay it with his soul scythe, or let it wander alive in its madness to have some sadistic fun.
Fortunately, he does not show so often. He is specially feared in the Wandering Spirits Night (aka "Halloween")
