The last mission of General Morbius of Camelot was to retrieve and destroy the Helmet of Despair from a dead Necromancer´s lair, to prevent its use by Morgana´s minions. But the cursed object tempted him to try it, giving him extreme strength and agility. When his King asked him to deliver the relic, he refused and deserted, joining the insurgent witch.
She sent him out to kill the Green Dragon as a test, but he was consistently defeated and, in his very last moment, the damned Helmet strangled him and reaped his soul, making him a nightmarish undead warrior who should wander forever, seeking for a worthy foe able to put him to rest in peace...
