A member of the Nightwrath clan, Merla "the Lidless" was born completely unable to sleep, so she spends her endless nights taming her dark magics and watching the night creatures hunting around in the forests.
She has natural affinity with owls and crows, and is even able to shapeshift into one of them to watch over her settlement from above, warning her brethren against any threat approaching.
